Go NGO Gears Up for Fall 2005

Well, the academic year is now fully underway and Go NGO is ramping up for another year of continued development. Last year's students did an amazing job at getting the organization off the ground and laid the foundation for true impact in the communities we serve.

This year, Go NGO will be recruiting ASU honors students to again form two teams: the engineering team and the business team. We will be on campus on Thursday, September 1st and Friday, September 2nd for multiple information sessions. If you are interested, please email us for further details.

Dr. Jim Collofello will be leading the engineering team this academic year. This team will be responsible for the research, design and implementation of an open source solution that will help Go NGO strengthen nonprofits' services to the people that most need them. For more information about Go NGO's mission and vision, please browse the appropriate sections of our website.

Update on Estimated Time to Completion!

During the 2004-2005 academic year, the Go NGO Business team laid the foundation for continued success and growth. Many legal and administrative tasks were completed and the groundwork was laid for the 2005-2006 Engineering Capstone team.

The Engineering Team will continue working towards an initial version of our offerings. We hope to have version 1.0 ready by Spring of 2006.
